A Service Offered by Citizen Action Portal
The Borough of Nazareth’s commitment to provide efficient, convenient and reliable service to its residents led us to contract with Diversified Technology and their Citizen Action Portal to offer secure acceptance of electronic payment of your Trash & Recycling Bills. Paying by Credit Card or Electronic Check is only available through the web portal. You can access the portal through the link provided below or by scanning the QR Code on your trash & recycling bill. You can set up autopay and personal reminders too.

Credit Card Payments
Credit cards accepted: MasterCard, Discover, American Express or Visa. A per transaction convenience fee of 3% will be charged by the payment processing company for this service.

Electronic Check Payments
Payments will be charged to your checking or savings account at your bank. You will need your 9-digit routing number, as well as your account number. A per transaction convenience fee of $1.50 will be charged by the payment processing company for this service.

Automated Phone Payments
Pay by Automated Phone at 610-991-7614. Your personal Phone Payment ID number and Phone Payment Pin number are in the top right-hand corner of your Trash & Recycling bill.

Example
If you pay the Trash & Recycling bill of $125.00 with the Credit Card service, an additional fee of $3.75 (3% of the total transaction) will be charged to your credit card. If you pay the Trash & Recycling Bill of $125.00 with the Electronic Check service an additional fee of $1.50 will be withdrawn from your checking account as the transaction fee.

**** The Convenience fee is not returned to the Borough, all convenience fees are retained by Diversified Technology for the service provided.

****Note that this is only for the Borough of Nazareth Trash & Recycling charges and not for any bills sent by the Borough Municipal Authority, i.e. water/sewer. You may not combine payments to the Borough of Nazareth and Borough Municipal Authority.

*** This payment service is NOT mandatory. You can still use cash, check, or money order. Cash, check or money orders currently accepted at either of these banks:

• Embassy Bank – 10 N. Main St. – normal hours M-F 9am - 5pm, Saturdays 9am- Noon - drop box always available (on same side as drive-thru)
• ESSA Bank – 76 S. Main St. – normal hours M-F 9am - 5pm, Saturdays 9am- Noon - drop box always available (inside vestibule)

If you use the auto pay option with your bank – Please be sure to make payable to the Borough of Nazareth – and mail to either Embassy Bank - 10 N Main St. Nazareth, PA 18064 OR ESSA Bank - 76 S. Main St. Nazareth, PA 18064

For proper processing, please do not mail or drop off payments at the Administrative Office. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
